About Us

WWW.ODDSANDSODS.NET specialise in House and Rubbish Clearance and selling general household items both online and from our warehouse, please see our contacts page for how to find or get in touch with us

We deal in Antiques, Collectibles, Fair Trade Items, Gifts, Vintage and Discontinued Tableware, Quality Used Furniture, Vintage and Antique Books and anything else that we think looks interesting!

We supply furniture to buy-to-let private landlords and lettings agencies throughout the south east of England, and sell directly to the public from our web site and our warehouse.

We also conduct house, office, garden and garage clearances.

Our prime objective is to ensure that as little as possible goes to landfill, collecting items for restoration purposes wherever possible. We currently use recycled packaging, and we also recycle metal, wood, glass and some plastics.

You are welcome to visit our warehouse, though for smaller items it's a good idea to let us know in advance as we have thousands of items of stock and do not have enough space to display everything.

Sales policy

You are always welcome to email or telephone our shop or warehouse with any queries you may have about an item or a service, Our staff aren't paid on sales commission, so ask us whatever you like and we'll answer you honestly.

You are welcome to view or collect any item from our warehouse, however, we do not have display facilities for our smaller items, so it's always a good idea to let us know in advance and we can ensure your item is accessible.

Delivery and dispatch policies

For Smaller items i.e. china, books, ornaments etc.

We deliver within the UK by Royal Mail Standard Parcels if an item can be posted by us we will quote the price on the item page. We aim to deliver to you within seven days of your purchase.

We pack each item very carefully by hand using recycled materials.

We deliver internationally only by Royal Mail Airmail Please note that we cannot haggle over postage prices and that the price quoted is an estimate based on the Price Calculator at www.royalmail.com, and as such may be subject to change. We aim to deliver to Western European destinations within five working days, eastern Europe within seven days, major cities worldwide within seven days and other destinations within nine.

If you require a delivery quote, please use our contact form to send us your delivery address and the item details and we'll email you a reply ASAP.

IMPORTANT: If you are outside the United Kingdom, please be aware that international delivery costs apply. If you wish to insure your delivery, please contact us (remember to quote the item number and delivery address) for an insured delivery price

For Larger items i.e. Furniture:

Odds and Sods offer a reasonably priced furniture delivery service to the immediate area, covering an approximate 30 mile radius. If you require a delivery quote, please use our contact form to send us your delivery address and the item details and we'll email you a reply ASAP.

Our deliveries are to your door, so it is always a good idea to measure the entry points to your home prior to purchasing the item, to ensure that your item will fit! That being said, although our delivery staff are on a strict timetable, they will usually be happy to place your item wherever you specify in your home, however all work inside your home is at your own risk as we are only insured to your door.

Deliveries are by prior arrangement only. We never turn up anywhere without a prior appointment, and we aim to deliver within 7 days of purchase.

Refund & Returns policy

We rely on a rapid turnover of stock, and our web site is updated at least three times per week. Although it doesn't happen very often, if you purchase an item only to find that we have just sold it elsewhere, it is our policy to refund you in full immediately.

If you feel a purchased item has been incorrectly described, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your item. If the item was dispatched by post, please keep the original packaging and return the goods for a full refund (including postage) up to the point where you received the goods. After you receive the goods you have 7 working days to inspect the goods and to return the goods for a full refund.

You must take care of the goods whilst they are in your possession, and either return them or make them available for collection by us. We will charge you the cost of collecting the goods, or you will have to pay the return postage though we will refund your original postage in full, along with the price paid for the item. If you cancel the order or return the goods within the time limit, we will refund your money in full, without a restocking fee, within 30 days of your cancellation.

Payment policy

FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS ONLY: International transactions must be by Paypal, and must be made in GBP pounds sterling. Paypal to Ebay@oddsandsods.net. Please include the item number and your delivery address.

FOR UK TRANSACTIONS ONLY: Please make cheques payable to "Odds and Sods". Please phone if you wish to pay by credit card without using Paypal. For security reasons, we do not keep credit card details on file.
